Environmental Policy
The Company's primary
requirement for the experts during execution of drilling and geologic
prospecting work is to strictly adhere to all the rules established by the
legislation, relating to drilling and coring work and the environmental
protection requirements. On the territory permitted to the Company, jointly
with geologic prospecting work, environmental protection measures are also
taken.
One of the most responsible components of our adopted policy - reducing the
negative impact on the environment during the activities and rehabilitation of damaged environment.
The Company is committed to:
• Ensuring the safety
of subsoil, atmosphere, soil, forests, water, and other objects of nature and
the environment from the harmful effects
of the work related to subsoil use.
• Ensuring the
protection of natural, historical and cultural monuments.
• Restoring and
improving the lands disturbed due to subsoil use, making them suitable for
household use or re-establishing their safety.
• Ensuring the safety
of implementation of work related to subsoil use.
• Making periodic
measurements of qualitative and quantitative parameters of air emissions of
materials, every three months.
• Performing
monitoring of soil pollution due to the use of machine oils and lubricants, to
avoid possible soil contamination.
• Performing drilling
work by modern drilling rigs, which will ensure minimal dust formation.
Carrying out
restoration of topsoil after the open pit exploitation, after technical
reclamation. The Company is making continuous monitoring of application of
measures for the study of biodiversity, water and land mass and for harm
reduction.
Social Policy
Our Company adheres
to the provisions of human rights in accordance with the UN Declaration of
Human Rights. The Company accepts and realizes the proper implementation of
social issues as a priority and strives for sustainable development. During the
term of its activity the Company implements social programs, which aim to
improve the quality of life of employees and people living in the affected
communities.
It is important for us to increase the positive effects and eliminate or
mitigate the potential negative impacts of the Company's activities. At all
stages of our activity, from design to operation, we set a high value on the
economic profile of the affected community and what impact our activities can
have on the economic life of the affected community.
During the operation of the mining complex, the initiator intends to
participate in the development programs of the affected communities.
Involvement of local residents and the residents of neighboring regions will
contribute to the improvement of their living standards by solving a number of
social problems.
The participation will be carried out in different directions.

It is the primary
condition for the Company to maintain good relations with the affected
communities, a vivid proof of which is the Company's constant visits and
meetings with the population and heads of communities. The purpose of the
visits and meetings is to ensure mutual respect and cooperation, for the
implementation of social programs for the benefit of the communities and the
population of the region.
Health and Safety Policy
We greatly value the
health and safety of our employees, and we do everything possible to prevent
the occurrence of possible injuries during work. Safety and health of employees
during work activities is the system of protection of life and health of
employees, which includes legal, socio-economic, sanitary and hygienic,
preventive medical, rehabilitative and other measures. The organization carries
out a number of planned works aimed at improving working conditions and
reducing work-related injuries:
• Conducting initial training on safety rules with all the staff they employ.
• Providing employees
of all professions with instructions for safe execution of works.
• Providing the staff
with appropriate clothing, footwear, and personal protective means: helmet,
glasses, lamp, gloves, first aid kit and accessories.
• Allowing driving
mountain vehicles and machinery to those who have undergone special training
and have a driver's license to operate those vehicles or machinery.
• Providing the
necessary first-aid equipment.
The Company employees
are obliged to know their health and safety responsibilities and to strictly
follow the instructions.
